Social Media Commenting Guidelines

MAPS strives for a productive, supportive, and safe environment for commenters on social media and online communities, which will facilitate our community to openly and respectfully express their perspective.

Commenters are encouraged to participate in and contribute to MAPS’ mission by engaging in behaviors that align with our organization’s values of providing psychedelic education through promoting transparency, passion, perseverance, intelligent risk, trust, and accountability.

MAPS invites commenters to express their opinions and views while being respectful to others with varying perspectives. We encourage you to reach out directly to those you wish to discuss off-topic matters with.

Your post will likely be removed if you do not follow the criteria:

  • Disrespectful Behavior: Namecalling, threats, hate speech, attacks toward people or identities, harassment, insults, insulting profanity, community-directed profanity
  • Illegal Activity: Drug distribution, drug sales, drug inquiries, drug/financial solicitation
  • Links: Unrelated spam and promotion

By choosing respect, you increase the overall civility of the community and make things better for all of us.

Please note that your use of the commenting feature is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you become aware of posts that MAPS may wish to moderate, please send us a private message.
