MDMA Therapy Training Program Update: May 2022

In May 2022, the training team delivered their second in-person training retreat of the year. The cohort was facilitated by lead trainers Marcela Ot’alora, G., M.A., L.P.C., and Bruce Poulter, M.P.H. The cohort included four assistant trainers: Sara Gael, M.A., Chris Stauffer, M.D., Jennifer Jones, M.D., and Nicole Sylvestre, L.P.C. The training retreat consisted of video case presentations, practice scenarios, guest speakers, yoga, nature hikes, technology-assisted experiential exercises with Entheo Digital, and live music.  

The team is preparing for their next retreat which will take place from June 12-19 in New York.

The 2022 training schedule has been posted on the training website, including options for a blended (online/in person) training format and an entirely virtual training format.

  • September 12-18, North Carolina • Online Course begins in August 
  • September 25-October 1, Colorado • Online Course begins in August 
  • October 9-14, New York • Online Course begins in September
