MAPS, in collaboration with local allies Open Circle Alliance and F.R.E.E. Gaia, is making the groundbreaking Psychedelic Crisis Assessment and Intervention Training freely available to all First Responders in Massachusetts through November 5, 2024.
Developed in partnership with the City and County of Denver, MAPS’ training aims to enhance the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of first responders to quickly recognize and effectively respond to emotional and behavioral crisis incidents involving psilocybin and other psychedelics. The program also seeks to enhance responder safety and reduce risk and liability in situations where individuals are experiencing a psychedelic-induced crisis.
MAPS is grateful for collaboration with our local allies to make this training available in Massachusetts.
Open Circle Alliance is dedicated to connecting Massachusetts-based psychedelic thought leaders, practitioners, organizations, communities and individuals. Alongside others working towards healing, justice and health, we aim to enhance public understanding of psychedelic substances, build a supportive network, amplify existing work, promote safety and collaboration, and advocate for the best possible psychedelic policies for Massachusetts.
