Carla Higdon
1963 – 2006
Carla was MAPS’ third employee, working for MAPS from 1995-2001. She was
a courageous woman with a warm and powerful spirit, and was a loving and
compassionate friend. It was Carla who first conceived of honoring the work
of women in entheogen research, resulting in the creation of MAPS’ Women’s
Entheogen Fund (WEF). Donations in Carla’s honor can be made to WEF.
