Gina DiJohnson, CMC Specialist (MAPS PBC)

Gina DiJohnson earned a bachelor’s degree in science in 2012 from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MAPS PBC), Gina worked as a sensory scientist where she supported R&D and innovation launching new products, quality control, and continuous improvement.
At MAPS PBC, Gina is currently serving as CMC Specialist, focusing on IMP supplies, logistics, document management, clinical supplies planning, and supporting the CMC department.
Gina is thrilled to be working on a team that values open science and transparency. Gina joined MAPS PBC in order to honor her brother’s legacy, a casualty of the War on Drugs, who believed in alternative healing treatments that are desperately lacking in society. She dreams of a world where mental health is not stigmatized and is accessible to all who need it and believes in the freedom to explore our consciousness with laws informed by science. In Gina’s free time, she loves spending time at the beach with her family.
