Sarah Pihl, Senior Quality Assurance Associate (MAPS PBC)

Sarah earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2019. Prior to joining MAPS Public Benefit Corporation, Sarah worked as a Research Assistant in the developmental research labs at UCSC and as an Analytic Intern for a software start-up, MotiveMetrics, in Palo Alto. Sarah’s two years of UCSC lab work focused on moral development in infants and she continues to read on the subjects of moral reasoning and cognition in her free time.
At MAPS PBC, Sarah is currently serving as the Senior Quality Assurance Associate. Her responsibilities include: maintaining and expanding the controlled document library, training employees within the quality system, and supporting the Clinical Systems and Quality Manager. Sarah is excited to continue working for MPBC in the hopes of finding an efficacious treatment for PTSD that does not require the long-term use of medicinal products. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading, drinking herbal teas, and playing ultimate frisbee in the SF Bay area.
