They also raise funds through crowdfunding for individuals to get ibogaine treatment and a nine-month integration program to reset their addiction and redeem their lives.

Prescription X: The Rick Doblin Story

A feature-length documentary 10-years in the making that shares Rick Doblin & MAPS 50-year journey to legalize psychedelics, starting with MDMA to treat PTSD. When Rick was 18, Doblin decided to become a Psychedelic Psychotherapist, but first would have to change the law. To do so, Rick transformed from a college dropout with a pet wolf into a Harvard Kennedy School PhD grad, who wrote his PhD thesis on how to take psychedelics through the FDA approval process. Rick founded the non-profit, MAPS and went on to raise over $130 Million to fund FDA-approved clinical research with psychedelics. Decades later, MDMA is on track to become a legal prescription drug to treat PTSD and Rick's psychedelic dream is close to becoming a reality that could change the world of mental health and culture.

The Ayahuasca Foundation began construction in 2014 and opened its Riosbo Ayahuasca Research Center in 2017. They have been hosting plant medicine research there for the last six years. This research has produced several published articles investigating the effects of attending an ayahuasca retreat in the treatment of depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, and PTSD. Current research is being done in collaboration with Heroic Hearts to study the effectiveness of treating PTSD by attending an ayahuasca retreat.

They offer innovative, integrative programs that combine psychedelic medicine (Ketamine IV) with nutrient and vitamin infusions, ongoing behavior change and accountability coaching, and frequent touch points with a multifaceted team of experts. The initial results of this comprehensive approach are very positive with the vast majority of patients reporting significant improvements in their health and wellbeing. This program provides financial aid to patients that would otherwise not be able to participate in these breakthrough therapies.

Hystelica is embarking on a pivotal 12-week observational study to explore the impact of microdosing psychedelics on menopause symptoms. This study will observe women who have independently decided to microdose, assessing changes in their menopausal symptoms, mental health, and overall well-being. With the prevalent yet inadequately treated discomforts of menopause—ranging from psychological to physiological effects—this research seeks to provide rigorous, evidence-based insights into the potential of psychedelics as a novel therapeutic avenue. As Hystelica aligns with MAPS' mission to deepen scientific understanding in this uncharted territory, the findings aim to empower women with informed health choices and spur a data-driven discourse on menopausal care and psychedelic therapy.

Instituto Phaneros

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Instituto Phaneros mission is to continue developing MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD in Brazil, aiming to have it legally approved by the country's health authority, ANVISA, after MAPS completes its Phase 3 Study. Instituto Phaneros aims to enroll and treat 25 PTSD patients in an open-label clinical trial in Brazil. During the training, they provide MDMA-assisted psychotherapy treatments as part of studies which will serve as a learning stage to trainees before MDMA therapy is approved. Training includes preparation, approval and execution of an MDMA study protocol.

Nierika AC, is a non-profit Civil Association, that has as its objectives the research and biocultural preservation of the indigenous traditions, rites and ceremonies in which sacred plants are used, as well as elaborating proposals of regulation for the use of this plants in intercultural medicine contexts. Nierika A. C. seeks the rescue and preservation of the indigenous wisdom and their medical and religious traditions, to build an academic multidisciplinary platform that allows the development of an intercultural medical model, that nourishes both from the traditional knowledges of the sacred plants in the western continent, as well as modern science.

Bluelight is a harm-reduction community where people who use psychoactive drugs (including but not limited to psychedelics) come together through the web forum and Discord server to find and share information, gain support and connect with like-minded people. Bluelight focuses on reducing drug-related harms rather than requiring abstinence from drug use, although they do also have a recovery and health area. Bluelight is best known for providing non-judgemental and accurate harm-reduction advice through peer led community forums. Bluelight also has one of the longest standing web archives of harm-reduction information, which are made available to the public as well as to researchers.
