(Off Camera) Interesting medical news today, researchers at Harvard University received tentative government approval to test whether the drug Ecstasy, or MDMA, can help dying cancer patients with their anxiety. We reported this was likely to happen about a year ago. Twelve cancer patients will be given MDMA, it’s the active ingredient in Ecstasy, and if the results are positive, the testing may expanded, or be expended to include all kind of terminally ill patients.

Learn about the MDMA/cancer anxiety study, and other studies of the potential therapeutic value of MDMA.

ABC World News Tonight briefly reported on the MDMA/cancer anxiety study to be conducted by John Halpern MD.
