The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) issued a press release about the filing of the prehearing statement in the lawsuit against the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) filed by University of Massachutes-Amherst Professor Lyle Craker, objecting to DEA’s refusal to issue him a license for a MAPS-sponsored facility to produce marijuana for federally-approved research.
