Sunset Cruise on the San Francisco Bay
Enjoy an informal dinner, no-host bar, and music in the company of friends and colleagues on a three hour sunset cruise on the San Francisco Bay. The boat departs at 7:00 PM sharp from Jack London Square, conveniently reachable via the Broadway Shuttle, a quick taxi, or a 10 minute walk.

During the cruise, experience live music from beatboxing cellist, CelloJoe, and glitch-acoustic band Homunculus Rex.
Mid-way through the cruise, the boat will briefly dock in San Francisco for those who choose to disembark to take a taxi (~$5), bike taxi (~$15), or walk 1.5 miles to 1015 Folsom to celebrate the 70th year anniversary of the discovery of LSD at Alex and Allyson Grey’s renowned Bicycle Day Celebration. If you choose to stay in San Francisco, buses and taxis will take conference attendees back to the Oakland Marriott after the party.

The Magic Bus plays music and runs historical videos of San Francisco’s hippy days. The Teacher Bus is bio-diesel powered, and comes equipped with a dance floor and excellent sound system.
