The HarvardX “Fundamentals of Neuroscience” online course features a lesson about current clinical research into MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD. Through interviews with MAPS Founder Rick Doblin, Ph.D., MDMA-assisted psychotherapy researcher Michael Mithoefer, M.D., and MAPS Research and Information Specialist Ilsa Jerome, Ph.D., the course includes a comprehensive overview of how PTSD affects the human brain and how research results indicate that MDMA-assisted psychotherapy can help people overcome treatment-resistant PTSD.
