Summary: Where Do We Go from Here: African Americans in the 21st Century interviews military veteran Jonathan Lubecky at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference about his experience as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, and overcoming symptoms of PTSD through a MDMA-assisted psychotherapy study conducted by MAPS. “I met two truly wonderful people who saved my life. Their names are Michael and Annie Mithoefer,” explains Lubecky. “I went in three times for three different treatments, six to eight weeks apart. It reduced my symptoms by fifty percent. It made my suicidality disappear. It has been three years since my last treament and I’m better now then I was after my treatment.”
