Zendo Project Prepares to Provide Peer Support at Burning Man 2022: New Talk and Psychedelic Speaker Series

The Zendo Project is headed to Burning Man at the end of the month to provide psychedelic peer support and a harm reduction workshop for the first time in three years! Our application is now closed, and we received an amazing 930 applications! 

Sara Gael and Ryan Beauregard will be providing a workshop on harm reduction at Palenque Norte on Wednesday, August 31, from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM PST

Talk Title: Zendo Project Psychedelic Peer Support: Celebrating 10 Years On Playa!

What can psychedelic peer support teach us about individual and collective healing? How does peer support provide a model for community wellness? This year is the 10th anniversary of the MAPS Zendo Project. Sara and Ryan will reflect on what the Zendo Project community has learned through serving over 6,000 guests and training thousands of individuals and volunteers and how these teachings are applicable to the psychedelic space and beyond.

Join us on the playa Thursday – Saturday from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM during Burning Man at 2:30 & Fugue for our EntheoGeneration speaker series to hear from Rick Doblin, Carl Hart, Natalie Ginsberg, Izzy Ali, Paul Stamets, David Bronner, Tom Eckert, Rachel Aiden, Bob Otis, Ariel Vergosen, Dre Wright, and Jamie Wheal. We’ll cover everything from the latest in legalizing psychedelics, destigmatizing drug use, and creating access through decriminalization and regulation, to what justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion looks like in the psychedelic movement and how we can better support the right to safety, vitality, and personal expression for all beings.
