On January 13, 2026, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) submitted the 2025 Cannabis Data Safety Update Report (DSUR) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The DSUR provides an annual safety update for the study in accordance with FDA expectations for ongoing clinical investigations. At the time of this submission, the Phase 2 study of smoked cannabis for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), known as MJP2, remains in the startup phase, and no new safety findings are reported.
MAPS will continue to provide required safety updates to FDA as the study progresses.
