This is a 7‑day professional education program for mental health clinicians on investigational MDMA‑assisted therapy, held September 20–26, 2026 at The Workation Village, a historic castle village in San Sebastiano da Po, Piemonte, Italy. Designed for licensed or legally authorized therapists, particularly those experienced with PTSD, the training blends 15 hours of online coursework with 40 hours of in‑person learning for a total of about 55 hours. Led by MAPS’ senior educators Marcela Ot’alora and Bruce Poulter, alongside Bruce Poulter and the broader MAPS education team, the program introduces the treatment model developed across decades of MAPS‑initiated research. Core themes include inner healing intelligence, an inner‑directed therapeutic stance, trauma‑informed care, somatic awareness, therapeutic alliance, transference and countertransference, safety, set and setting, and integration. Learning happens through didactic sessions, clinical video review, small‑group work, and practice scenarios, within a daily rhythm that balances structured sessions with optional evening activities. The program is educational only—there are no experiential MDMA sessions—and emphasizes that MDMA‑assisted therapy remains investigational and unapproved by regulators. Tuition, accommodation, and meals are bundled; limited scholarships are available, and places are capped at 55 participants to foster an intimate international learning community.
