regen·era Rising: Interdependence Summit

We’re excited to share that Design Science Studio is convening artists, designers, worldbuilders and regenerators for a three-day immersive campout gathering in Hopland, California — a living experiment in collective healing, civic imagination and regenerative culture taking place alongside the 250th anniversary year of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, asking what becomes possible when we move from independence toward genuine interdependence. Set within Gateway Mendocino, a thriving ecological remediation site powered by solar energy and surrounded by natural buildings, weeping willows and a swimmable pond, the village of regen·era roots itself in the land for three days of shared regenerative meals, immersive installations, performances, embodied practice, collaborative design, land rituals, radical play, ecosystem weaving, speakeasies and surprises — a temporary prototype where participants collectively enact the values, relationships and systems they wish to see flourish in the world.
