Please join Dr. Neal Goldsmith and the Psychedelic and Entheogen Society of New York on Saturday, March 10th, in New York City to explore the truth about “Psychedelic Love.” Click here for more information.
- Love is frequently cited as the culmination of a spiritual path, and the psychedelic path is no exception, but how do love and psychedelics relate?
- How about love and romance, tantra, prayer, fidelity, family, polyamory, friendship, intimacy, hormones, freedom, trust, agape, transcendence?
- Do psychedelics generate or connect us to love? Why do psychedelics and practices such as tantra provide access to our deepest, truest selves, as well as a direct connection to the essential vibratory frequency of the Universe: love. How do psychedelics compare to meditation as a method for developing spiritual love?
- How is love the essence of reality and why is love for ourselves, for others, and for the Universe, both our basic nature and our ultimate objective in life.
This talk will present ideas for a forthcoming book by Dr. Goldsmith, entitled Love: Sex to Transcendence, and as in Psychedelic Healing, this book (and this talk) will be part overview of the latest research, part clinical guide, and part personal report from the field. Neal M. Goldsmith, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist, author, and public speaker specializing in psychospiritual development, with particular expertise in psychedelic psychotherapy. Dr. Goldsmith’s book, Psychedelic Healing: The Promise of Entheogens for Psychotherapy and Spiritual Development, describes the influence of psychedelics on the development of his personality theory and clinical practice. sdad
