SSDP Spring Symposium at Green Mountain College (Poultney, VT)

From the event website

On Sunday April 13, the Green Mountain College chapter of Students for a Sensible Drug Policy will be holding its first ever Spring Symposium. The chapter has recognized the need for local and direct action in light of the failed drug war and skyrocketing opioid drug use in Vermont today. As the first SSDP chapter in the state, the Green Mountain College students have created a program of events that neither promotes nor discourages but provides non-fear based information that allows for safe decision making regarding the individuals mind and body. The mission of SSDP is to both enact and affect drug legislation while simultaneously ensuring that today’s college student and wider community knows their rights, understand current drug laws, and become aware of the political, social, economic and physical effects of drug use.
