Male and female participants (aged over 18) are needed to complete a voluntary and confidential online survey that should take no more than 40-45 minutes to complete. You are being asked to take part in a research project investigating the interactions between certain motivations, attitudes, beliefs and experiences, and drug and alcohol use. The purpose of the study is to get a better understanding of the nature and impact of a variety of factors involved in different patterns of substance use. By developing a greater awareness of how these factors influence or are influenced by the nature of substance use, researchers, psychologists and various health workers will gain a better understanding about what mediates the potential benefits and risks involved in drug use which, in turn, might offer insight into means of preventing or addressing addictions. Ethical consent was obtained from the Ethical Board of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University.
