MDMA Therapy Training Program Update: April 2021

Admissions are open for the 2021 MDMA Therapy Training Program! The Summer 2021 cohort will take place May 14 – August 15 and the Fall 2021 cohort will take place September 10 – December 21. The program consists of live presentations, video case presentations, roleplay, scenario enactments, self-reflection activities, group and dyad activities, reading, writing, coursework, and creative projects. Small groups, facilitated by MAPS Home Group Trainers, meet regularly throughout the program and provide a container for discussion, integration, process, and practice. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all available training spots are filled. Applications will remain on file for consideration as future training cohorts open enrollment; previous applicants do not need to reapply. Applicants who are accepted by the Admissions Committee will receive an acceptance letter and an opportunity to register for the cohort or remain on the waitlist for future cohorts. Thanks to the MAPS Health Equity Fund, the MDMA Therapy Training Program is honored to offer a number of full and partial scholarships for tuition costs for 2021 trainings.The MAPS Health Equity program aims to create access and grant funds to practitioners of color, trans and non-binary practitioners, as well as those from refugee communities. Applicants who demonstrate financial need will be given priority in the scholarship selection process. The MAPS Health Equity Scholarship is part of MAPS and MAPS PBC’s larger commitment to increasing inclusion and equity in our programs and advancing the initiatives outlined by the MAPS Health Equity Fund.  For more information on the Health Equity Scholarship  visit our webpage.
