MAPS Policy Team Appears on NPR and Chacruna’s Community Forum Series

On September 9, 2020, Ismail Ali appeared on NPR’s “The State of Things” alongside Leticia Brown, an Oakland-based therapist who attended a MAPS MDMA-assisted psychotherapy training last August, to explain the history and current perspectives on the use of psychedelics for healing and psychological well-being.

On September 16, Natalie Lyla Ginsberg interviewed Rick Doblin, Ph.D., MAPS Founder and Executive Director, for “The Promises and Perils of Mainstreaming Psychedelics” on Chacruna’s Community Forum Series, hosted on Crowdcast, to publicly share Rick’s perspective on the benefits and potential risks associated with medicalization of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy.
