It was at an IACP conference in Florida, the largest event for police officers in the world, that Gergerian met Rick Doblin, the former hippie and founder of Maps (an acronym in English for “Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies”), a non-profit organization who has been leading the resumption of psychedelic research around the world for 37 years.
