Jennifer serves as MAPS’ first Director of People. Jennifer is an executive level advisor on people operations and employment matters. She has started and led people departments, created DEI teams/initiatives, and driven strategic planning pertaining to people operations within for-profit and non-profit organizations. Previously, Jennifer was an employment law attorney as well as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for her local legal aid.
In her role at MAPS, Jennifer is responsible for the development and implementation of intentional and effective people strategies in support of MAPS’ mission, values, and principles. Jennifer is passionate about understanding the whole human experience and creating space for whole humans to show up at work. She strives to design a work environment that reinforces work-life presence. She is deeply committed to cultivating more inclusion and belonging within diverse work ecosystems. Jennifer is trained in Conscious Communication, a technique rooted in active listening and intentional speaking.
