Statement on Clinical Treatment Practice using Cannabis to Treat Patients with Symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

On July 21, 2022, a general medical and psychiatric practice in Steinheim, Germany, released a statement about their use of cannabis to treat patients with symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The statement supports the idea of patient self-titration of how much subjects use each day, when they use, and route of administration, along with the amount of marijuana each subject will receive (2 grams per day) and the potency (about 20% THC).
