Emily Williams, Senior Accountant

Emily Williams is an experienced business administrator and bookkeeper who has worked for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit industries. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and holds two certifications in Nonprofit Management through the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. During her time working in the nonprofit mental health industry, Emily was successful in implementing modern CRM and accounting systems which resulted in the completion of five financial audits with no findings, 20% increased funding for the organization, and doubled the overall donor retention rate, ensuring the nonprofit’s long-term sustainability. Emily believes that psychedelic plant medicines are a catalyst to create monumental positive change in people’s lives and she is honored and privileged to support MAPS’ mission. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks in nature while listening to Alan Watts lectures, attending music festivals with her husband Tim, and spending quality time with her children and dogs in Norman, OK.
